The following requirements ensure network wide consistency in content and quality of ATC Centers
Course Requirements
ATC Course Definition
ATC courses are intensive, high-quality, hands-on (that is, one student per computer) courses taught by approved ATC instructors. They are designed to help working professionals improve job performance and productivity with Autodesk software. ATC courses are not intended for students enrolled in certificate or degree-seeking programs.
- Technical and product knowledge
- Instructional skills and experience
- Industry experience
Certification of ATC instructors is done through the ATC manager. Autodesk monitors instructional quality through the student evaluation form. It is the responsibility of the ATC manager to ensure that the above areas are met. Centers failing to comply with requirements will be terminated.
ATC instructors must also attend authorized training if Autodesk releases a new version of the software that they teach.
Performance Requirements
Quality is the defining characteristic of the ATC network. Therefore, training providers that receive the ATC designation must demonstrate and maintain Autodesk’s standards of excellence. By assessing the performance of each ATC, Autodesk ensures that the ATC name retains the quality that distinguishes ATCs from every other training provider.
All ATC sites must meet Autodesk’s minimum performance requirements. Autodesk assesses ATC performance based on student evaluations. Evaluations must be completed by each qualifying student attending an ATC course, and the ATC ensures these are submitted on an ongoing basis.
Performance is measured in the following categories: Overall Performance, Instructional Quality, Facilities and Staff, Enrollment, and Individual Instructor Performance.
